Mohali DC to hoist Tricolour

Deputy Commissioner Gurpreet Kaur Sapra will hoist the national flag at a district-level Independence Day function at Government College, Phase VI, here.

A full-dress rehearsal took place in this regard, following which the senior functionary of the district administration said all arrangements have been put in place for the function. Earlier, a meeting, headed by Mohali ADC Charandev Singh Mann was also held in this regard.

Mann said in the march past, the contingents of Mohali Police, women police, NCC and school children would take part.

Various teams of students from government and private schools and colleges would also take part in the cultural programme.

“The administration will honoured selected officials for their good work and panchayats who have contributed in social causes, including sanitation,” said Mann.
