UIAMS student gets package of Rs 16 lakh

CHANDIGARH:University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) students have been placed in various companies this academic session with a maximum salary of Rs 16 LPA in Mount Meru Group.

University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) students have been placed in various companies this academic session with a maximum salary of Rs 16 LPA in Mount Meru Group. 

As many as 44 companies participated in the on campus and off-campus placement process this year for various MBA courses. 

Prof Upasna Joshi Sethi, director, UIAMS, Panjab University, said a total of 132 students had registered for placements, of which 113 got offers with 129 job offers. Many students got multiple job offers.

The second highest package was offered by Jaro Education with a package of Rs 12 LPA. Five students were placed at a package of nine LPA with Practo and another six with a package of Rs 6 LPA with Mahindra Finance. 

As many as 10 students were placed with HDFC Limited at a package of Rs 5.5 LPA. 

Prof Sethi said, “Our innovative course curriculum is delivered by highly talented faculty, which has been well received by the industry as one of our students has got a package of Rs 16 lakh and another of 12 lakh.” 

She added that Ankush of MBA (IT & Telecom) was placed with Mount Meru Group at Rs 16 lakh at Kigali, Rwanda (Africa).
