Punjabi varsity starts new course

Patiala, May 21

Department of Literary Studies of Punjabi University, Patiala, has commenced a one-year Post-Graduate Diploma course in Punjabi Literary Creative Writing. 

Prof BS Ghuman, Vice-Chancellor, Punjabi University, said the step has been taken to promote Punjabi language, literature and culture.  He said, “Punjabi literature has not remained limited to its traditional form but encompass films, television, radio and new media. Script writing and content writing skills are much in demand.” — TNS
