Dev Samaj College, Sector 45, beat MCM DAV College, Sector 36, by 72 runs in the Senior State Cricket Championship for Dr KBS Dhillon Trophy here today.
Batting first, Dev Samaj girls scored 156/2 in 20 overs with Shabnam hammering a 66. Palak added 44 runs to the total. Radhika and Chetna claimed a wicket each for the bowling side. In reply, DAV girls could manage only 84/5 in 20 overs. Reena bagged 2/14, while Saloni took 1/6. Divya was the top scorer for DAV with 25 runs. Jasleen contributed 17 runs to the chase. —TNS
