Even two days after a Honda City car was taken away at gunpoint, the UT police are yet to make any headway in the case. Two pedestrians had forcibly taken away the car from a woman outside Elante Mall.
The victim stopped the car near Gate No. 3 and as she got down from the car, a pedestrian came there and pointed a gun at her. While the accused carrying the gun sat on the driver’s seat, his accomplice sat on the next seat.
The police scrutinised the footage of CCTV cameras installed outside Elante Mall and the nearby industrial plots. However, they failed to get any clue. —TNS
