Maliwal urges LG to close GB Road; govt to create rehab plans

NEW DELHI:A day after nine inmates of Sanskar Shelter Ashram Home for Girls went missing, DCW chief Swati Maliwal appealed to Lt Governor Anil Baijal to ensure that GB Road is immediately closed.

A day after nine inmates of Sanskar Shelter Ashram Home for Girls went missing, DCW chief Swati Maliwal appealed to Lt Governor Anil Baijal to ensure that GB Road is immediately closed.

Further, she also urged the Delhi government to ensure better condition in shelter homes as well as create rehabilitation schemes for survivors of trafficking. Maliwal is also seeking time to meet the LG and Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik in the matter.
