About six months after Gau Sewa Mission head Swami Krishnanand Vrindavan Kutia Beenewalwale had gone missing on the night of June 2, his gaushala today received a letter reportedly signed by him.

The gaushala is on the premises of Swami’s ashram Vrindavan Kutia in Hoshiarpur’s Beenwal village.

The envelope has the name of one of his disciples, Bhagat Mehar ji Ram, who lives in the gaushala, while the letter is addressed to the Hoshiarpur SP.

The letter reads, “I went by myself for ‘bhajan sadhan’ on June 2 to a solitary place. Here, I am not connected to the world, as I neither have a mobile and nor access to newspapers. I have learnt that the administration has been facing problem in tracing me. I regret this.”

DSP Ranjit Singh Bandesha said the letter was delivered by post, but the place of its origin could not be known as the stamp of the post office was not readable. “Forensic examination will confirm whether or not Swami Krishnanand has written the letter,” he added.
