119 mobikes added to UT police fleet

CHANDIGARH: With an aim to strengthen the UT police, 119 new motorcycles have been added to the fleet in the Police Department.

With an aim to strengthen the UT police, 119 new motorcycles have been added to the fleet in the Police Department. The motorcycles, apart from patrolling, will be used for various other department work.

The new fleet of motorcycles was flagged off by UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore today from Raj Bhawan, Sector 6.

Police officials said out of 119 motorcycles, 95 are Pulsar motorcycles while 24 are Royal Enfield.

“These vehicles are equipped with all essential equipments and will improve the efficiency of the Chandigarh Police”, said a police official.
