22 schools of Doon take part in Rupali art competition

Dehradun, April 17

The Doon Girls School and Dehradun Boys School celebrated their foundation day here yesterday. A variety of fun races were conducted for the students of classes I to VIII.

A total of 22 schools from Dehradun participated in Rupali art competition. The chief guest was Dr Manisha Bajpai and judges were Piyusha and Kulina Shah.

Under category A, Gaurav Rawat (PYDS) secured the first position while Hanshika Kamboj (RRMR) and Devansh Kala (PYDS)/ Kshitiz Silmana secured second and third positions, respectively. Under category B, Anushka Selal (Brightlands) stood first and Naman Chaudhary (Brightlands)/ Paridhi Goel (Doon Presidency) and Sakshi Pal (Doon Blossoms) were second and third, respectively.

Saumya Agarwal (The Doon Girls School), Oshin Likha (The Doon Girls School) and Atithi Paswan (PYDS) were first, second and third, respectively. The overall first position was secured by Brightlands School, Purkul Youth Society and The Doon Girls School stood second and third, respectively.
