Skill set: Kangana Ranaut to get due credit as a co-writer with Apurva Asrani on Simran

Kangana Ranaut has added another talent to her list of skills. She has lent her creative mind and scripted the movie Simran along with director Hansal Mehta. Kangana has done a screenwriting course from New York and she’s using her valuable knowledge to make Simran a more in-depth and personal character.

The director lauded the actress and added saying, “She must write. She is sharp, instinctive and has a great sense of character”. Kudos to Kangana for adding another feather to her hat. Kangana’s dabbled with writing before, she’d reportedly contributed to the dialogue and screenplay of Vikas Bahl’s Queen. But this time, she’ll get an official credit as a co-writer with Apurva Asrani on Simran.

Hansal Mehta has also revealed that he has plans of working with Kangana Ranaut again. He shared that he and producer Shailesh Singh have offered to co-produce Kangana’s directorial debut in the near future.
