Three killed in firing over land dispute

Three persons were killed and seven others were injured in a firing incident occurred at Dasmesh Nagar Manj village in Lopoke area in Amritsar.



Amritsar, December 12
Three persons were killed and seven others were injured in a firing incident occurred at Dasmesh Nagar Manj village in Lopoke area in Amritsar.

The deceased have been identified as Narinder Singh,  Nawab  Singh and Jagtar Singh. The injured included Makhtool Singh, Sahib Singh, Jaspal Singh, Baljit Singh, Jatinder Singh, Mehnga  Singh and Daler Singh.

The injured were rushed to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital and a private hospital.

The police have rounded up five persons from the spot. Land dispute is stated to be the reason behind the incident. — TNS
