KULLU: The Kullu police today released the CCTC footage of the three suspects alleged to be involved in the Raghunath temple theft here on December 9.

Kullu, December 17

The Kullu police today released the CCTC footage of the three suspects alleged to be involved in the Raghunath temple theft here on December 9.

A gold idol of Lord Raghunath, the chief deity of Kullu, an ashtdhatu, a composite of eight metals, idol of Hanuman and stone statues of Nargsingh Devta and Shaligram were stolen from the temple on the intervening night of December 8 and 9.

The suspects were seen in the CCTV footage at Sarwari and at the Bus Stand. The state government had also announced an award of Rs 10 lakh for giving information on the stolen artefacts.

Lord Raghunath was the chief deity during the world famous Dasehra festival and other festivals of the region.
