DEHRADUN: Governor KK Paul has extended his greetings and best wishes to the members of armed forces, ex-servicemen and their families on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day.

Governor KK Paul has extended his greetings and best wishes to the members of armed forces, ex-servicemen and their families on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day.

The Governor greeted the people of Uttarakhand and said each citizen of the country was proud of its brave, dedicated and glorious soldiers, who were always ready to lay down their lives to protect the country in every difficult situation, including natural disasters.

The Governor appealed to the people of the state to donate generously on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day to express respect and gratitude towards the brave soldiers as the amount generated would be spent on schemes for the welfare of ex-servicemen, widows of soldiers and their dependents.
