DEHRADUN: Doon Capital Rangers bagged the third place in the first edition of the Uttarakhand Super League after defeating Pithoragarh Panthers 6-5 in a match played at Pavilion Ground on Monday.

Dehradun, August 8

Doon Capital Rangers bagged the third place in the first edition of the Uttarakhand Super League after defeating Pithoragarh Panthers 6-5 in a match played at Pavilion Ground on Monday.

Both teams managed a goal each in the full time. Later, the match moved into a tie breaker where Doon Capital Rangers defeated Pithoragarh Panthers 5-4. Balahasan, Arun, Eniok, Ritesh and Harish scored one goal each for Doon Capital Rangers while Anuj, Saurabh, Kapongo and Divyansh scored a goal each for Pithoragarh Panthers.

The final match of the tournament will be played between Pauri Platoons and Nanital FC Lake tomorrow.
