Drug recovery: Police fail to nab accused

Nurpur: The Health Department and the local police have failed nab the accused who had thrown five gunny bags of medicines meant for supply in government health institutions in Jawali on May 10. Throwing medicines bearing remarks ‘Not for Sale’ and ‘For HP government supply only’ indicates the alleged pilferage of hospital supply medicines in the state health institutions. Kangra District AIDS Control Programme Officer S Nikhil Gupta, who has been entrusted with the departmental inquiry, said official records related to the government medicines supply at Gangath, Indora and Fatehpur had been completed but to no avail. — OC
