Rinki Bind and Harshdeep won the cross-country race organised by the District Sports Department on the eve of Independence Day here.

Rinki Bind won the title in under-14 girls’ category, whereas Jessica and Mansi bagged the second and third place, respectively.

In the under-14 boys’ category, Harshdeep stood first. Siddharth and Vivek secured the second and third ranks, respectively. In the men’s open category, Sunil, Bharat Verma and Karan Tiwari bagged the first, second and third place, respectively. Mukesh Rana stood first in veteran category. — TNS
