Bir Singh, a resident of Himachal Pardesh, was allegedly duped of Rs 85,000 by Surmukh Singh of Jagtpur village on the pretext of sending him to Dubai. In a complaint to the police, Vir Singh alleged that the accused took Rs 85,000 from him and did not keep his promise. The cheque given to him by the accused bounced at the bank. A case under Sections 406 and 420 the IPC has been registered. — OC
