Chandigarh: A delegation of the NSUI and some senior professors of Panjab University met Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. Gandhi listened to them and asked as to what he he could do to solve the problems faced by the PU. The delegation suggested to make funding incremental, taking a base year through which inflationary deficit can be managed. He assured to talk to Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Badal in this regard. — TNS
