HAMIRPUR: The Department of Public Relations yesterday launched street plays or ‘nukkad nataks’ in rural areas to highlight the achievements of the state government.



Hamirpur, January 14

The Department of Public Relations yesterday launched street plays or ‘nukkad nataks’ in rural areas to highlight the achievements of the state government. The programme has been started in six districts — Hamirpur, Bhoranj, Nadaun, Sujanpur, Nadaun, Bijhri and Tauni Devi. A booklet titled ‘Shandaar Uplabdhiyan, Abhootpurav Vikas’ on chievements of the state government in the past four years would also be distributed among the people. The street plays were started simultaneously in all the development blocks yesterday. Over 30 artists performed at various locations in the district to spread awareness on government schemes targeting various sections of society. — OC
