Two players from Mandi won three bronze medals in the 7th All-India Karate Championship held in Delhi on November 22-23.

Two players from Mandi won three bronze medals in the 7th All-India Karate Championship held in Delhi on November 22-23.

Team official Joginder Singh said Vishal Thakur, a student of Mahavir Public School, Sundernagar, won one medal while Jai Kumar, a student of Vallabh Government College, Mandi, won two medals in different categories.

He said nearly 700 players from Delhi, Kolkata, Kerala, Chennai, Bihar, UP, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Assam and other states participated in the event.
