Sukhbir pleads not guilty in 17-yr-old assault case

FARIDKOT: Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal appeared in a court here today in connection with an assault case of 1999.

Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal appeared in a court here today in connection with an assault case of 1999. One of the eight accused in the case, Badal pleaded not guilty before the Judicial Magistrate (First Class), Faridkot. Sukhbir Badal and seven other accused are facing criminal charges for allegedly assaulting Kotkapura resident Naresh Kumar Sehgal on September 5, 1999.
