Sunny Leone has been quite a pin-up poster girl in tinsel town and is riding high on success. We caught up with her to talk about her latest film Ek Paheli Leela and other upcoming projects.
Ek Paheli Leela
I am playing a triple role in a film for the first time. All the three roles were challenging, especially playing a Rajasthani girl because I had to speak in a Rajasthani dialect, which was difficult for me to pick up. I play a mysterious princess who falls in love with a commoner played by Rajneish Duggal. I had to sport a tanned dark look for the film. The film is a musical thriller shot in Jodhpur and other locations in Rajasthan.
Three to tango
It was really chaotic with three handsome men after you (laughs). But yes Mohit, Jas and Rajneish are all great guys, all fun on the sets. On the tough outdoor locations of Rajasthan, we needed such men to keep our sanity right. Mohit is the quieter one but Rajneish and Jas were real great fun on the sets.
An Aishwarya Rai fan
I am dancing to the hit song Dholi Taro Dhol Baje from the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. It was a great challenge for me as I am a huge Aishwarya Rai Bachchan fan. I took great pains to shoot this song and it has turned out really well. The song is the highlight of the film. The other songs composed by Amaal Malik are also popular.
In the pipeline
I have completed filming the action thriller Tina and Lolo, which is inspired by Charlie’s Angels and Lara Croft and have also wrapped up Milap Zaveri's sex comedy Mastizaade alongside Tushar Kapoor and Vir Das, which will be releasing in May. I am currently filming for two projects, the "dramedy" Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, which was earlier titled Patel Rap. Then there’s Jasmine D'Souza's One Night Stand opposite Tanuj Virwani. This month I will kick start filming for my next titled Tera Beimaan Love alongside Rajneish Duggal.
