DEHRADUN:Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Sunday visited Badrinath to pay obeisance at the Himalayan shrine.

Dehradun, October 14 

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Sunday visited Badrinath to pay obeisance at the Himalayan shrine.

Rawat performed a ‘puja’ at the temple and prayed to Shri Badri Vishal for the prosperity  of the state, an official release here said.

The Badrinath-Kedarnath Mandir Samiti welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him a bead of ‘tulsi’, ‘prasad’ and ‘aangvastram’. 

The Chief Minister also went to see Rawal (chief priest of the shrine) at his residence. — PTI
