Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki conferred degrees on 250 graduates and postgraduates of different streams at the annual convocation of RKSD (PG) College here today.

He stressed the need to imbibe seven virtues in students — identity, democracy, progress, sanctity, hard work, authenticity and prayer. He urged the students to work hard and with honesty to achieve goals. He advised the students to make identity for themselves, so that they always appear different from the crowd. He said that education inculcated moral values in students and enriched their lives. He said India had a rich cultural history, which had earned it a special status in the world. Sanjay Joon, Deputy Commissioner; Sumer Partap Singh, SP; and Capt Shakti Singh, ADC, were among those present.
