BJP leader Swaran Salaria, who had claimed that he had already taken over as the chairman of the Trust, said today that the Trust deed formalities had not yet been completed, so he was yet to be officially inducted as the chairman.

During the hearing of the writ petition filed by college students in the High Court, the Chief Executive Officer of the college, Manish Jakhar, submitted an undertaking that Salaria had been appointed as the new Trust chairman, but they could not produce documents to prove this as the management didn’t have access to offices on the campus in view of the strike by the staff members.
