Rohtak, March 1

In a bizarre incident, two transgenders allegedly bobbitised a youth and abandoned him near his village in Rohtak. The 28-year-old man works at a cloth shop. He was waiting at Meham for some conveyance to his village last night when some transgenders offered him a lift in their car.

While travelling some altercation broke out. As per the youth, the transgenders persuaded him to join their community. When he refused, they allegedly thrashed him.

The youth alleged that they stopped the car on the way and made him have tea. “The tea was perhaps laced with some sedative, due to which I became unconscious after consuming it,” he maintained.

Following that, the youth was allegedly bobbitised and abandoned near his village. He later got admitted to the PGIMS and lodged a complaint with the police.

Meham DSP Shamsher Singh said they have registered a case under Sections 326 (Causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons) and 34 (Act done by several persons for a common intent) of the IPC.
