Ambulance falls into canal, driver dies

REWARI: Ambulance driver Naresh of Jhajjar district drowned when the vehicle fell into in a canal near Aasalvaas village on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway last night.

Ambulance driver Naresh of Jhajjar district drowned when the vehicle fell into in a canal near Aasalvaas village on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway last night.

The incident took place when Naresh was on the way to Jaipur from Gurgaon.

Some people having dinner at a dhaba at Kasola Chowk informed the police who called the divers to rescue the driver.

Naresh’s body was recovered today and sent to the civil hospital for a postmortem examination.
