Case registered for pistol theft

YAMUNANAGAR: A licensed pistol, belonging to the son of former minister and Congress leader Nirmal Singh, was allegedly stolen from his car in Faizpur village of Yamunanagar district.

Yamunanagar, January 13

A licensed pistol, belonging to the son of former minister and Congress leader Nirmal Singh, was allegedly stolen from his car in Faizpur village of Yamunanagar district.

In his complaint to the police, Nirmal Singh’s son Udeyvir Singh said he had gone to the farmhouse of a known person in Faizpur village on January 9.

He said he parked the car outside the farmhouse, but when he came back, he found windows of the car unlocked.

He said he had kept his licensed pistol in the car, but it had gone missing from the car.

Lajja Ram, SHO, Khizrabad police station, said on the complaint of Udeyvir, a case was registered against unknown person at the Khizrabad police station on January 11.
