Muskan Bhardwaj, who has bagged the second position in the science stream of the state board exams, has set her eyes on civil services. She says her aim is to uplift people from deprived sections of society.

“Civil services is the best way to achieve my aim. In case I don’t make it, I have a backup plan. I want to pursue MBBS,” says Muskan, a student of SD School in Chhapar village in the district. She has scored 492 marks.

“The two fields —civil services and medical — give one an opportunity to remain in touch with people,” she says.

On her results, she said credited her parents and teachers. “I used to study for more than eight hours every day.”

Her mother Poonam said, “Muskan has been a topper since Class I. She helps her two younger brothers in studies and motivates them to perform better than her.”

Her father is a Upper Divisional Clerk (UDC) in the Delhi Government.
