YAMUNANAGAR: A pre-nursery student of a private school was killed when he came under the wheels of a schoolbus in Gundiana village of Yamunanagar district on Saturday.

A pre-nursery student of a private school was killed when he came under the wheels of a schoolbus in Gundiana village of Yamunanagar district on Saturday.

On the complaint of deceased’s grandfather Gurmaij Singh, a case has been registered against bus driver Sukhchain and conductor Rishipal under Sections 279 (rash driving) and 304-A (negligent act) of the IPC at the Radaur police station.

The complainant said his grandson Viren (4) was waiting for his schoolbus in the village. He said when the boy was moving towards the bus, the driver started the vehicle and his grandson came under its front wheels.

He was taken to the community health centre in Saraswati Nagar, where he was declared brought dead. After postmortem at the Jagadhri Civil Hospital, the body was handed over to the family members.
