SONEPAT: A gang of thieves struck at the residence of Lalit, son of the former MLA Dev Raj Dewan, here in HUDA’s Sector 14 on Sunday evening and decamped with jewellery valued around Rs 12 lakh and Rs 2.

A gang of thieves struck at the residence of Lalit, son of the former MLA Dev Raj Dewan, here in HUDA’s Sector 14 on Sunday evening and decamped with jewellery valued around Rs 12 lakh and Rs 2.5 lakh in cash.

On the complaint of Priyanka, wife of Lalit, a case has been registered at the local Civil Lines police station against unidentified persons, who also took away the DVR of the CCTV camera and TV dish.

In her complaint, Priyanka stated that she, along with her maid, went to a dental clinic around 3 pm. The maid came back around 5 pm and informed her about the theft on the phone.
