CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government has given approval for opening 16 new government colleges, including nine institutes for women, in the state.



Chandigarh, September 18

The Haryana Government has given approval for opening 16 new government colleges, including nine institutes for women, in the state.

An official spokesman said these colleges would come up in Chamukla (Kurukshetra), Hari Mandi (Charkhi Dadri), Jatusana (Rewari), Rithoj (Gurugram), Rewari, Kherdi Chopta (Hisar), Balsamand (Hisar), while the colleges for women would be opened at Sihma (Mahendragarh), Padha (Karnal), Bawal (Rewari), Kulana (Jhajjar), Data (Hisar), Kairu (Bhiwani), Loharu (Bhiwani) ), Kalayat (Kaithal) and Ballabhgarh (Faridabad). — TNS
