Women and Child Development Minister Kavita Jain today announced that the Scheduled Caste backlog in the state government services would be filled by the state government on annual basis.

While addressing the participants in Kabir Dass Jayanti samaroh here at Kabir Bhawan, minister also announced that the state government would construct 11 hostels for the students of this community to ensure better education facilities for them.

The minister claimed that in order to mitigate the sufferings of people, the state government had brought about 450 services of different government departments under one roof of Antyodaya Saral Kendra and Atal Seva Kendra and around 32 lakh people had availed the benefits of these services in last two years.

“Sant Kabir opposed superstitious beliefs and advocated the message of brotherhood in the times when the society was in the grip of conservative customs,” the minister remarked and appealed to people to follow the teachings of Ravi Dass for bringing social amity.

While addressing Kabir Jayanti programme in local Sundar Sawari colony, Rajiv Jain, media adviser to the Chief Minister, said the state government under the leadership of Manohar Lal Khattar had ensured that the benefits of the welfare schemes were reaching poor and neglected people of every section of society. He also laid the foundation stone of Kabir Satsang Bhawan in the colony.
