4 girls from state to join military nursing service

SHIMLA: Four nursing graduates and a lecturer of the Shivalik Nursing Institute will join as Lieutenant at the Military Nursing Services on February 26.

Four nursing graduates and a lecturer of the Shivalik Nursing Institute will join as Lieutenant at the Military Nursing Services on February 26.

Ruchi Dhiman, who graduated from Shivalik Nursing institute in 2015, belongs to Kuther village of Kangra district. She was working at Max hospital, New Delhi, and will join Command Hospital, Ambala.

Another 2015 batch alumnus of the college, Rajni Sharma, will join Military Hospital, Bareilly. She is a daughter of an employee of the State Forest Corporation.

Shiksha Rokha will join Military Hospital, Jodhpur. She could not appear for Military Nursing services exam in 2016 due to her father’s demise, but cleared it last year.

Amita Chauhan, who is the daughter of an ex-Armyman belongs to Anni in Kullu district. She will join Command hospital, Chennai. Her sister, Anita Chauhan, is already working at Military Nursing Services, Ahmedabad.

Poorva Parmar, a nursing lecturer at the institute, will join Army Hospital, Lucknow. She is from Parour in Palampur.
