NURPUR: Flash flood triggered by heavy rain washed away a five-year-old boy at Thana village, near here, on Tuesday morning.



Nurpur, August 14

Flash flood triggered by heavy rain washed away a five-year-old boy at Thana village, near here, on Tuesday morning. The deceased was identified as Mohit. The incident took place near the nullah adjoining his house. The body was found 500 metre away the spot. SDM, Nurpur, Surinder Thakur said an immediate relief of Rs 10,000 had been released to next of kin. — OC
