  • Solan: BJP's nominee for the Shimla Lok Sabha segment Suresh Kashyap today campaigned on his home turf Pacchad and the neighbouring Renuka Ji and urged the people to support him.
  • Kashyap said if voted to power he would effectively raise the local issues at relevant fora on priority. He said the BJP government had always worked for the agrarian community and the poor. Several schemes had been introduced by the party for their welfare. 
  • Kashyap emphasided that the party's 'sankalp patra' had reiterated the party's stand on nationality. It does not support the fragmented approach followed by the Opposition. While dwelling on their stand of not compromising with the national security by supporting terrorism, Kashyap said the BJP will do away with Article 370 if the party came to power.
  • The party's 'sankalp patra' highlighted the party's vision for development of the poor and farmer welfare schemes. All-round development was seen under Modi’s leadership. tns
