Sex racket busted in Mandi; 1 held

The police on Monday arrested a woman for running a sex racket in the town. The accused, identified as Priyanka Sharma, has been booked under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act.

She was produced in a court, which sent her to three-day police remand.

According to information, the accused had also pushed two other women into prostitution. While one of them was a local resident, the other belonged to Bihar. They were also rescued.

The accused had been running the racket from her rented accommodation. — TNS
