At least seven civilians were injured when militants hurled a grenade at a local police station in Pulwama on Tuesday.

Two of the injured civilians were rushed to Srinagar while the others were being treated at Pulwama District Hospital. “Two persons who suffered grievous injuries have been shifted to Srinagar, rest are doing fine and will be discharged soon,” a health official said.

Confirming the incident, a senior police officer said the militants had targeted a local police station.
