Ahead of summer vacations, administration of Army Goodwill Public School (AGPS), Rajouri, is organising a seven-day summer camp on the campus.
The camp was inaugurated by GOC, Infantry Division, on Wednesday. He motivated the students to utilise this opportunity to hone their skills and make efforts to achieve newer heights in sports and co-curricular activities.
Students from army schools at Hamirpur and Sabra (in Poonch district) and Tenderfeet School at Keri are also taking part in the camp, which aims to promote sports among the students. An archery node was also inaugurated on this occasion, the school spokesman said.
About 350 students are actively learning skills in fields of their interest. — OC
