KAPURTHALA: IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, main campus, Kapurthala, will conduct its own entrance exam on July 2 for admission to five courses having 160 seats in total.

Kapurthala: IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, main campus, Kapurthala, will conduct its own entrance exam on July 2 for admission to five courses having 160 seats in total. The departments of management, physical sciences, chemical sciences, mathematical sciences and journalism and mass communication will be conducting an entrance exam due to the sudden rush and competition amongst students wanting admission at the main campus of the university. There are 60 seats in MBA and 25 each in MSc physics, chemistry, maths and for MA in mass communication. A university spokesperson said the submission of applications would begin on May 24 and the last date to submit applications is June 30. The entrance test will be conducted at CB III building of IKGPTU main campus on Kapurthala-Jalandhar Highway on July 2.
