Phagwara, November 9
Sucha Singh, a resident of Santokhpura locality, here, reportedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. The incident occurred near the Satnampura railway crossing here last night.
Stress was said to be the cause behind the extreme step taken by the victim, said Government Railway Police (GRP) in-charge Gurbheij Singh.
The body of the victim was handed over to his family members after a post-mortem examination, which was conducted at the local Civil Hospital today.
