Phagwara, January 17
The police have arrested two persons, including a woman, with 5 gm of heroin and 200 intoxicant tablets on Wednesday night.
Phagwara ASP Sandeep Malik said 3 gm of heroin and the intoxicant tablets were recovered from Jagdeep Kumar, a resident of Begumpura.
The ASPadded that two gm of heroin was recovered from Chhindo, a resident of Sahotra village.
She was arrested near Mannawali village.
Two cases under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act have been registered against the suspects.
