High PITCH

Sidharth Malhotra recently made headlines when he kick-started shoot for Shershaah at Kargil, just after Article 370 was scrapped. The movie is based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, an officer of the Indian Army who laid down his life for the nation and was given the Param Vir Chakra posthumously. Amidst the shooting schedule, Sidharth took a break and played cricket with the crew of the film!

In the photographs he shared on Instagram, the actor can be seen wearing a black t-shirt with grey track pants as he bats while a crew member throws the ball. Sidharth is seen having a wonderful time as the pictures also reveal beautiful snow-capped mountains against a blue sky. “What weekends look like while you are shooting in the remote areas! In between shots for #Shershaah,” Sidharth’s caption read.

The shooting of the film had begun last week, however, after some delay. The makers needed some heavy equipment that got delayed due to restrictions that were imposed by the Government as precautionary and safety measures. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, the film also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead.
