‘SIT probe into Behbal Kalan incident a fraud’

SAMRALA/KHANNA: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Badal, who was here today termed the SIT constituted by the Punjab Government to probe Behbal Kalan firing incident a fraud.

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Badal, who was here today termed the SIT constituted by the Punjab Government to probe Behbal Kalan firing incident a fraud.

“The SIT is not probing any incident but is only working for Captain Amarinder Singh,” said Sukhbir.

He said the SIT has been working to defame the SAD. He added that when the SIT was constituted, the SAD was of the view that it would work genuinely, however, the SIT has turned out to be a fraud.

Sukhbir claimed that the SAD would clean sweep upcoming 2019 General Elections in the state.

Meanwhile, After knowing about Sukhbir Badal’s visit around two dozen activists of the Shiromani Akali DaL (Amristar) tried to show black flags to Badals cavalcade but somehow the police managed to block them.

Workers led by Varinder Singh Sekhon and Gurmukh Singh Shamshpur raised slogans against Badals and demanded action against them in the sacrliege incidents.
