65 units of blood collected at camp

SAMRALA: A blood donation camp was organised by Saanjh Kendra under its incharge Sub-Inspector Amarpal Kaur with the help of Friends Foundation Club at Chahilan village today.

A blood donation camp was organised by Saanjh Kendra under its incharge Sub-Inspector Amarpal Kaur with the help of Friends Foundation Club at Chahilan village today. The camp was organised at Prachin Shree Mukteshwar Mahandev Mandir, Chahilan. As many as 65 units of blood were collected by a team of trained doctors from the Civil Hospital, Ludhiana.

The SSP, Khanna, NS Mahal, along with SP (I) Jasvir Singh and other police officials inaugurated the camp. The DSP, Samrala, Harsimrat Singh, the DSP (H), Vikas Sabharwal, and other police personnel of the Saanjh Kendra along with club members donated blood on the occasion.

In his address, the SSP appealed to the people to donate blood to save precious lives. Doctors of the Civil Hospital awarded certificates and Saanjh Kendra gave away trophies to blood donors. Club members led by its president Parvinder Singh Balli and Saanjh Kendra members, including Amit Modgill, Sukhvir Singh Pappi, Beant Singh and others, were present at the camp.
