Annual sports day at Sacred Soul Convent

LUDHIANA: Sacred Soul Convent Senior Secondary School Dugri-Dhandra Road, Ludhiana, celebrated its annual sports day.

Sacred Soul Convent Senior Secondary School Dugri-Dhandra Road, Ludhiana, celebrated its annual sports day. 

The events filled the hearts of everyone with the spirit of sportsmanship and unity. The aerobics drill remained the centre of attraction. Students of Class I to XII competed in various events including balloon bursting race, sack race, sprints, obstacle race, shot put, relay race and tug of war. 

Harun Sheikh of Class XII-Arts and Janvi of Class IX were declared best athletes and all winners were awarded with medals and certificates.

Utsarg Parv

Ludhiana, November 16

Arya Yuva Samaj Punjab commemorated ‘Utsarg Parv — A tribute to Mahatma Hansraj’ in a special way with the staff and students of DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana. The staff and students gathered to pay obeisance to their noble mentor with utmost devotion and respect. Volunteers of Arya Yuva Samaj unit enthralled the audience with their soulful bhajans. A PPT was shown on Mahatma’s contribution for the uplift of education and society. — TNS
