LUDHIANA: After a liquor smuggler abandoned his car at Harrian village, the police recovered 14 cases of illegal liquor from the vehicle.



Ludhiana: After a liquor smuggler abandoned his car at Harrian village, the police recovered 14 cases of illegal liquor from the vehicle. Later, the smuggler was identified as Gurjit Singh of Bhamma Khurd village. Investigation officer, ASI Mohan Lal, said acting on secret information, a naka was laid at Harrian village. The smuggler after noticing the police party manning the naka abandoned his Indica car. Raid was being conducted to arrest the suspect, the police said. TNS

Ludhiana: Activists of the Mahila Congress on Friday protested and burnt an effigy of the Pakistan Government for shielding conspirator of Pulwama terror attack incident in which 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans attained martydom on February 14. Leena Taparia, president, Mahila Congress, said the Central Government should take revenge at all the cost from Islamabad and should teach them a lesson.  “Pakistan is not capable of facing India.
