No visa-free facility for Indians in Hong Kong

Beijing: Hong Kong, a special administrative region of China, has withdrawn the visa-free facility for Indians who will have to complete a pre-arrival registration from Monday. “Indian nationals must successfully complete pre-arrival registration online before they can visit the HKSAR visa-free (if seeking to enter the HKSAR during transit),” the Hong Kong immigration department said. pti

Ranikhet Express derails in Rajasthan 

Jaipur: Ten coaches of Ranikhet Express derailed in  Jaisalmer, officials said on Saturday. Train 15014 Kath Godham-Jaisalmer Express derailed with 10 coaches between Thayat Hamira-Jaisalmer on Friday night. However, no casualties or major injuries were reported. Fourteen trains were affected due to derailment. tns

Rs 2 lakh-cr investment proposed for Bengal  

Kolkata: Investment proposals totalling to over Rs 2 lakh crore were received at the two-day Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) which concluded here on Saturday.
