Nigerian among 3 held with heroin

Fatehgarh Sahib, April 11

The police arrested a Nigerian national from Dwarka in Delhi following a tip-off from two peddlers. The police recovered 215 gm of heroin from them.

Gurser Singh Sandhu, DSP, Amloh, said they intercepted a bike at a naka at Amloh, but the riders sped away. They were held after a chase. They were identified as Lalbinder Singh and Raman Kumar alias Ram of Mandi Gobindgarh. The police recovered 35 gm of heroin from them. They revealed that they bought it from a Nigerian national in Delhi. The accused, Dick Chameji, was then arrested with 180 gm of heroin.
