SAD firm on Maghi Mela conference

Fatehgarh Sahib: Akali MP Prem Singh Chandumajra said here on Tuesday the SAD would hold a conference at Maghi Mela in Muktsar later this month, even as he stated that the Akal Takht Jathedar had taken a hasty decision to ban political conferences during the recent Shaheedi Jor Mela here. Chandumajra said such conferences were needed to apprise the young generation of the sacrifices of the Gurus and other martyrs. OC
